Alright Boys & Girls... Gradution for us May grads is coming up pretty soon, August and Decemeber grads you can participate too...

WHAT TO WEAR TO GRADUATION ?!?!? Yes, I'll have a cap and gown on.. lol, but idk if i should wear a dress, jeans, business casual....

Pneumo, I never took you for a dress wearing kind of girl, lol.

I'm actually graduating in absentia, and since they'll be having the nursing graduation in the middle of the day, while the rest of the university graduates that night, I'll only be wearing boxers during graduation as I'll be in my bed asleep, lol.

lol. ya im not big on dresses. hahaha... i have 40 days to find something. poop. LOL

I'm wearing a plain black dress to graduation. For pinning we have to wear our uniforms. UGH. I hate that thing!

I have some 4 inch heels that I was going to wear to graduation since we are going out afterwards, but I think I might wear flats. I'm having visions of falling on my face when my name is called. LOL!

I'm going with my normal Hippie Bohemian look. Its the shoes I'm worried about, I really wanted to wear nice wedge heels BUT we have been told there are stairs up to the stage. Yes Mango, I have the same vissions, I can just picture myself tripping over my flowing purple hippy skirt LOL... So I'm looking at some flats, which is annoying because I'm height challenged.

When I graduated, I wore jeans and sandals under my cap and gown. I figured I fulfilled my "getting dressed up" quota with the white dress I wore at my pinning.

I'm graduating in MAY!!!! (May 5th to be exact) We are required to wear a black dress to pinning and also to graduation, so that's what I will be wearing. I'm attending both ceremonies. I wouldn't miss it for the world. I've worked to hard for this degree to miss anything. Congratulations to all the other 2012 graduates ... WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!!!!!!

A black dress for pinning? :eek: Wow, I've never seen a pinning that included anything other than white scrubs or a white nursing dress.

For our pinning, we have the option of wearing white scrubs or a dress. I want to wear a dress because I like the idea of a traditional nurse appearance. Now, to find one I like... Someone, I don't know who, chose a dress we were all supposed to wear. We ordered it, it arrived. A monstrosity is the only word I have to describe that thing. Absolutely hideous. So, now we can choose a dress as long as it's white.

We are all wearing caps, except the men, whether we wear the dress or scrubs.

For graduation, our cap and gown is black. I'm not sure what I'll wear under it.

Wearing a nice blue sundress to pinning, and then a different jersey casual-type dress under my gown for commencement ceremony. :)
