Has anyone gotten an email from Clackamas or PCC? I haven’t heard about any delays or emails for moving forward or declined.

Didn’t get in this year or make the top 15, so extremely bummed. I had 43 points so will work hard to get more points next year. Good job everyone who did get in!

Congratulations to everyone! I didn’t get it nor on the alternative list. Feeling pretty bad about myself right now haha but I’m sincerely so happy for you all of you.
Just out of curiosity. How many points did you guys have to start with? I had 44. Just gonna try again next year! Take care all of you, best wishes ♥️

I can totally relate. I had 43 points last year and was on the alternate list (not top 15) and have 47 points this year and was accepted! Hang in there and don’t give up!!

Aww thank you! That makes me feel better! Second time is the charm!! Congratulations!!

I was placed on the 15th alternate list. I had 44 points prior to the interview. It would be nice to see where everyone ranked in points. I was also waitlisted at OHSU and accepted to Linn Benton. This was my first year applying. Good luck to everyone on their journey.

Hello everyone,

Congratulations to those offered a spot at Clackamas! I was placed as a top 15 alternate and went into the interview with 45 points. Last year I went into the interview with 43 points and did not make it to the top 15 alternates. I am still waiting to hear back from PCC-anyone else? The waiting is pretty painful ? Good luck to everyone on your nursing journey... it’s so competitive but we just have to keep at it no matter what I’m sure it will be worth it one day  ?

Does anyone know if they are able to find out how many points they have after the interview , where they are on the alternate list, how many alternates they took last year ?

Hi Rachel ,

I can definitely relate , too. This is not my first rodeo (it’s more like my 3rd?).Try not to feel bad about yourself ...even making it to interview is a huge accomplishment. Did you apply anywhere else or just Clackamas ? Just curious. I went into the interview with 45 points.

Hi! Thanks for replying back to me! I did apply to PCC and Mt Hood but didn’t get to the interview process for either. I took most of my prerequisites at CCC! 5 years ago I was in ITT tech’s nursing program and after completing only one term, they shut down nationwide. So slowly but surely I took my prerequisites and retook some for better grades. I was so excited to finally have an interview because it felt like a long time coming for me! But reading everyone’s positive messages gives me hope. I know it’s super competitive and I wish they could accept more people just because having work in a hospital, we are so short on nurses! And there’s so many of us who want to be nurses! But it sounds like the second time is the charm for CCC. So I’ll try again next year! CCC is my preference. Thank you and everyone else for your kind words and I’m seriously so happy for you guys. I know everyone has worked so hard to to finally get to this point so I’m sure it’s a relieving feeling! I hope to be in your guys’ shoes this time, next year! Best wishes to you all ♥️

Anyone on the alternate list for ccc, how many points did you have pre interview ?

Hi everyone! I am also on the top 15 for CCC. I am inspired and thankful for everyones input on these forums. Congrats to everyone who got in! I can't wait to feel that excitement, hopefully next application cycle.

I’m thinking about making a new forum for 2021-2022 application cycle since this is for last years! But it’s all that I could find when I was researching for help the interview.

Excited for you all who got in!! And for the others who are like me, let’s keep trying!!

Who else was a top 15 alternate and where were you at before the interview ? Does anyone know how deep they go on the alternate list normally/ last year ? Is there a way to know where your points are at after the interview and your spot on the top 15 ?
