Has anyone gotten an email from Clackamas or PCC? I haven’t heard about any delays or emails for moving forward or declined.

Did mhcc tell you what number alternate you are

Well you never know. I am an alternate for ohsu and if called I would give up my spot at mhcc

I had mine on Wednesday with CCC! I wasn’t expecting those questions! It’s too bad they can’t accept more students simply because they don’t have enough nurse educators/ clinical sites! There’s such a nursing shortage, especially at the hospital I work at- we’re always short on nurses. I wish they could accept more than 24.

I felt pretty good about! I did a lot of practice with my sister, but definitely wasn’t expecting such unique questions. Overall though I felt really good!

Yes I agree! And I was also surprised that we only had to answer 4! I know it’s such a bummer, I honestly felt so good about my interview, but knowing they only accept 24 makes me feel super nervous. I hope we both get in!

I feel the same too! Plus I can’t wait to know if I got accepted/waitlist/declined. I just want to know something haha.

I know MHCC has 45 alternates. I went to an informational session 1-2? years back and they said the year before they ended up accepting ALL of their alternates. CCC has 15 alternates I believe and everyone after is considered an 'alternate' but I think they usually end up accepting the top 15 which is why the rest do not get numbered whereas MHCC numbers all of the alternates.

What did the interview process look like with Covid? It sounds like there is no individual portion and it's all a group interview? What was it like and we're there any group projects  ?

All group interviews through zoom, but I believe before covid it was still group interviews just in person

Some schools had timed essays, and some require the HRST exam
