Hello! I thought I could start this thread to gather as many CCC nursing students who were just accepted into the program. I figured we could share our stories and get ready for our world as nursing students at Clackamas! Congrats to everyone and let's begin this journey! I am so excited!
I agree you will probably see more movement after other orientations. However, if I was one of the people that was still trying to decide I would have still registered and dropped it once I figured out my best fit. Then I would at least have my lab spot holding for me. Sooo, you may even see some drops of people who are still deciding!
Yeah - I've always thought that as well. But, I'm just impatient and want to hear from CCC right now! ha Hopefully, others are like you and registered anyway...even though they may not be 100% sure wht they're going to do just yet.
Yay! Born4This!! I am so excited for you! Now you can finally relax=)
hehe I know, right @pogues60. I've probably been getting on everyones nerves. I'm sorry!!! I am just so impatient, and, waiting to know how my future is going to pan out is something I have even less patience with. But, I know now...and now I can shut the heck up! ha
Crossing my fingers you hear next!
Thank you @Althaea and @BRW85! I hoped, wished, and prayed but didn't think it would happen for me this year. There were a ton of amazing candidates and since I don't have any experience in health care, I thought I was a long shot. To make it onto the waitlist for both CCC and PCC was a surprise to me...and a win, too. But that just made me want it even more. Then I went to orientation and was like "OMG - I HAVE to go to CCC!". Counting my blessings and feeling very humble and thankful :)

Totally @JaymeeL. I've been checking it randomly, because I'm sure there aren't actually 10 available spots in the program. Hoping that after PCC and Mt Hood's accept/decline deadline passes this friday, and orientations happen next week and the following week, I'll hear something. It's just hard to sit around and be idle and wait.
