Gm hun @tseten25, so I spoke with the nursing dept and unfortunately, if you do not have the passing Teas score, it is highly unlikely to be accepted. He said even if you have a 4.0 gpa but do not have the minimum passing teas score you will not be prioritized vs someone with a 3.0 gpa and a passing score. I believe you should what to retake it and apply for the fall. You can only apply up two times for this program.

@b20 thanks so much dear for reaching out at nursing deparment for me this morning. Anyways, I did got message from Mr.Ali, he suggests that I apply Fall 2020. I might stay in city tech if not move to bmcc and apply there instead for fall 2020.

Applied for Spring 2020, does anyone know what the GPA cut off is this semester?

Hey @shanay101 I handed my application back in mid-September. I have a 3.46 gpa and a 72 TEAS, it's definitely a 50/50 for me. I'm not sure if you hand in your application late plays a decision factor or not, did they say that it does when you dropped it off?

Well when I called on Friday he told me to just drop it off today because he won’t be in the office on Monday. I took the exam twice in one week. The first time was last week Saturday the Procter got beat up and they rescheduled my exam for Wednesday 12/4 and they lost my exam so I had to wait until they retrieved my grades which I was able to get it yesterday. So now I see that I received a 70% on the exam and my GPA is a 3.89 I’m praying I get selected I’ve been through so much this semester.

@shanay101 I think your fine as long as the due date isn't taken into consideration. I would call and ask to see whether they really look at that or not. I'm keeping my ?? crossed for you and keep me posted! You got this!

Yea he told me all is good and I highly believe I’m gonna get in. All positive thinking. I really hope you get in as well. This is going to be a long stressful journey but it’s all worth it.
