okay thank you !!

If the pandemic doesn’t delay their decision then you here back from them at the beginning of June. I’d say around June 4th because that’s the same day that past students received their acceptance/rejection letter.

@Hithere82

that’s great the sooner we hear back the better .

Hi Guys!

I am planning on applying on Spring 2021. Do you think a 3.48 GPA have a chance? Or should I try? I need like a second/third opinions and I do not know what to do next.

Thank you! Stay Safe.

WOW! I wish I would have found this Forum sooner! I'm also a student who just completed prereqs and I stay on the updates!! Here is some info I was able to pick up:

-This time last year the students who applied to the nursing program received their acceptance letters on June 7th (at 3:56pm LOL)

-If you are considering taking the cr/nocr I spoke with an advisor in the nursing department and they do not recommend it due to how competitive the program is. (you may know this already but yea) so if I were you I would not!

I'm really curious to know what the applicant pool is like with covid going on hmm..

Good luck to all who are applying!!

Hey, I applied with 3.4 and 65.3% TEAS. What are my chances?

I just noticed that the Algebra math class I took for my previous degree, did not transfer correctly to city tech (it transferred as an elective). So I've talked with some people in the Nursing dept. and a couple of advisors, and they all said "You're fine." But from experience, that doesn't guarantee anything.

Did anyone have this problem before? And is this going to effect my application?

Hey, a similar thing happened to me. I had taken college algebra and I spoke with the guy and he said in order for it to transfer as a pre req it had to be 4 credits and mine was only 3 credits. Luckily though, I had taken pre calc which did transfer as a pre req.

The same thing happened to me, kind of. I took college trigonometry at another CUNY college, and it’s 3 credits. It’s called math 1000. They transferred it as an elective. I wonder if this would be the same as math 1275 and I could use this course.

@itmeanssky so did u apply for the nursing program? And if so, which math r u using? Would they accept the elective math grade?

SO, I transferred to City tech last semester and I got a B+ in psychology but on the transcript, it says CR and B+ as well.

I did apply, going off of the fact that I was told it would be fine. But I HIGHLY doubt it is fine. So if I don't get in, I'll just take pre-calc, and some other pre-reqs this fall for other schools' programs (I've heard this program is unnecessarily hard).

Alright well, the ballots are in. I have a pre req GPA of roughly 3.1, TEAS exam score of 80%, and I submitted 3 letters of recommendation. What are the odds I’ll get accepted to the program? /:
