Does anyone know if you use the no credit or credit option for a class like Microbiology if it would impact your entrance into the nursing program?

I don’t think it would since Microbiology isn’t a pre req for the nursing program at city tech. However, maybe it could impact it when you’re looking into BSN programs that have that as a pre requisite

Does anyone know how many applicants there usually are on average?

@Hithere82

thank you because I don’t think I did too well in that class and I was really worried. What about 1275CO ?

@Chrisss_co

Not sure but I believe they usually accept 70 applicants per semester.

Super nervous about getting accepted. I got 80% on my TEAS how did everyone do?

@User712 I know of someone who had a 2.7 but did well in her TEAS and got accepted so you'll never know what can happen

@Myavitz thanks

When did they get accepted? And are they still in the program?

Usually your GPA is what they use to determine acceptance. Your TEAS score is used to see if you’re able to pass the NCLEX when you take it at the end of the program. The cutoff tends to be a 3.5 but it can go lower to about a 3.4. Everything depends on the pool of applicants in a given semester. So let’s say you have a 4.0 GPA and a barely passing grade on the TEAS... you will definitely get in since your GPA is what is mainly used
