City Colleges of Chicago Fall 2014 Nursing

Hey Guys/Girls,

I would like to start a thread for those of us who have applied for the Fall 2014 Nursing Program at the City Colleges of Chicago. Please post if you have any information you might have regarding acceptance letters and also ask questions regarding the process. I think this will be helpful for applicants as far as how the acceptance process is coming along as well as support through the waiting period.

Does anyone know if this is the only time they send out the acceptance emails? Is there only one round that goes out?

Accepted into Truman!

First choice was Malcolm X, but maybe because of the probation (like Agusia said) they are only accepting students into Truman.

That cuts down on a lot on the # of applicants they can accept, no?

I don't know if they still sending emails- good luck I hope you will receive one shortly.

Also I am very curious how many students they are accepting?

I read that before there were 100 per school- but I am not sure how accurate that information is.

I just opened my email this morning and found out that I was accepted into the RN program at Truman.

My husband was accepted into the Truman program last night. He accepted as well so he'll be joining you all in the fall.

When I called Truman they said that emails were still going out and that there would also be an email if you are denied. I haven't received either email yet and am completely on edge about not getting in. I am starting to loose hope, but trying to be hopeful...:(

Sgreen stay positive! If you didn't get denied email you still can get in!

Really wondering about the number of students. And if they divide us when other colleges get back to teaching.
