Have any of you seen circs performed without baby being strapped to a circ board? My sister says her husband told her that when their son was circumcised, he was sucking his thumb, and I called BS. But am I wrong? Are boards always used?

Thank you all so much for your feedback. I was surprised that my brother-in-law actually wanted to see this and even more surprised that he said that my nephew sucked his thumb. I guess it is very possible :)

Still doesn't change my opinion of routine circs, at all. I appreciate very much that there are other people out there in healthcare that care about newborn's body integrity. Thank you for those thoughts as well :)
