I WISH I spoke Italian! My grandparents were encouraged to only speak English when they arrived in the States. I would love to hear more about you and your training. From which part of Italy are you?

Ciao Caterina!

if there's no problem I'd like to correct you!

You wrote:Mi mama sona di Napoli de Italia. Mi sono di Florida.

It's better: Mia madre è di Napoli, in Italia. Io vengo dalla Florida! that's "I came from Florida".

Female teacher is maestra , female professor is professoressa

Male teacher is maestro, male professor is professore.

I hope the first lesson has been good.

You have to correct my english too!

Nice to meet you

a presto! :)

hi topcat!

i like to recive coloured letters! :balloons:

spero per te che il colloquio sia andato bene e che potrai entrare all'università!

i hope the interview was ok, and you'll enter university! :)

the topic of my thesis is the difference between italian, english and spanish nurses in emergency and accident departement.

it's a long job and i haven't finish yet! :uhoh3:

sorry but i didn't understand! tu stai studiando italiano all'università, isn't it?

what kind of faculty?

...but you're waiting to know abut the nursing university! how many universities are you going to attend?

spero di ricevere presto una tua risposta!

ciao

francesca

hi kristinww!

i came from rome!

exactly 25 minutes with undergrond far from the colosseo!

i feel very lucky for this!!

from which part of italy were your grandparents?

i think in usa there are many italian grandparents' grandchildren. someone of these grandparents taught italian to their children... someone else no!

maybe because they forgot it!!

i studied university for three years. at the end i should complete 2250 hours of training in the hospital! that's a lot! believe me!!! but is good to learn every thing to be a nurse! well i think that only a lot of practice, a lot of years working with patients will make me a perfect nurse!

my training was in not all the ward of the hospital...it was impossible: i practiced in general medicine, general surgery ward, cardiology, neurology, labour room, neonatal intensive care, dialysis, e&a, oncology and in spain e&a and home healt or domiciliary care. :nurse:

las year, the third, i was in spain for 5 months for an european project called erasmus, have you ever heard about it? it's like an interchange.

it was a beautiful experience!

if you want to know more...ask me! :)

francesca
