Hey everyone, need a little help on this one. I already tried searching, but couldn't find any answers. I am currently moving to south jersey, right outside of DE. I was wondering if anyone works at Christiana in Wilmington. How is it working there? Is it a nice hospital? Are they unionized? What is the pay like for a nurse with 2 years experience? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ok first off, Christiana is in Newark Not Wilmington. Wilmington hospital which is part of Christianas system is in wilmington.
I work at Christiana now and love it. I think they have a healthy strong system with lots of nice perks. I would recommend anyone to come to work there. I love it!

I was looking at the website for christiana and they seem to be offering a lot for new grad nurses. Do you know anything about their new grad internships and externships? I'm very interested in applying there in the near future. What type of perks do they have? I have heard that a lot of people say it was a great place to work.
thanks

Contact HR and they can tell you all about the internships offered there. I know there is an ED internship, OR internship, Critical care internship and NICU internship (although I hear that one is nearly impossible to get into). I've worked at Wilmington hospital in the city (part of Christiana Care) and now work at Christiana. Personally, I love it there. :)
