Christiana Care Perioperative Nurse Residency 2015

Hi everybody! I was wondering if anyone had applied for the Christiana Care Perioperative Nurse Residency program starting September 2015?

Working in the OR has always been a dream of mine. I have been out of nursing school for about 5 years, but have always worked in doctor's offices. I somehow have been lucky enough to get an interview for tomorrow for the residency program, but I am SO nervous! I do not know what to expect and feel like I am behind everyone else because I don't have any med/ surg or acute care experience.

Plese let me know if anyone else has applied and any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! I'm just reading your post now and am curious to know how it went for you?? I too have only worked outpatient and don't have any med surg experience... Can you please share? I'm nervous myself about starting a med surg position that I have delayed putting in an application lol
