CHOP 2020?

Published

Does anyone know anything about the CHOP nurse residency for December graduates? I know the last posting was for those graduating through October. When does CHOP traditionally have postings for nurse resident? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

@pa1421 - When I try to do it, it tells me I am only allowed to send 0 messages a day LOL so I'm not sure either!!

@sp8 - float nurse sounds awesome!! Congrats!!

Yes same! Do you know if there is a facebook group where the March/Spring nurses can connect with each other??

I just created one! Search "CHOP Nurse Residency March 2020" ?

Which state do you guys live? I’m still job hunting. Lmk if there is any position open in NYC.

Hi! I applied to the posting for those who graduate by July 2020. I received a video interview and was wondering if any of you who went through the interview had any advice? Do you remember the questions you received and how long you had to answer each one? Lastly, how soon after you submitted your video did you hear back? Thanks!

Also- when do they ask you what unit you are interested in?

Ill be in the PICU!

Hi I just applied for the May 2020 posting and got an email about a video interview.. Does anyone remember the questions the video interview asks and how long you heard after completing the video interview??

@futurepedsnurse2020 I heard from friends who applied last year that at the end of the video interview they have you rank your areas of interest ? Good luck!!

I had my CHOP application in by Tuesday and am waiting for the video interview link! It seems like those that applied day one got theirs right away. Very excited!

@amar2 hi congrats on applying! I just got the email about being placed in the new RN talent pool the day after doing my video interview! It seems like they are trying to push the process along pretty quickly ?

Does anyone know how often positions open in the PICU? I recently received the email that I was placed in the new RN talent pool and that is my #1 choice.

Hi guys! Recently accepted a position at CHOP and have a couple questions for those who got hired/have already started. Did anyone get placed 'part-time'? I was hoping for a full time position I wasn't sure if more hours become available as the unit needs it or after training? Also, does anyone know if orientation is paid or not?
