CHOC New Grad Residency August 2022

Hi everyone! I applied for the new grad program at CHOC for the NICU. Good luck to all of the applicants.

I have had hospitals update my portal as complete and then email me for an interview afterwards, but also leave me in that status for months as well. I’m not sure what this means at choc. I hope you get an interview!

I received a verbal offer for PICU Fellowship as an external applicant!

Has anyone heard back from the NICU? Do they notify all the selected applicants on the same day, or over the course of a couple days?

My friend and I interviewed for NICU, and neither of us have heard back from them. They said they would make a decision by yesterday, so I am not sure if that means they are behind on contacting people, or we were not selected. My status on workday is still "under consideration," has yours changed?

My status hasn’t changed either, but I know they already started calling people this morning! Not sure if they call everyone on the same day

They told me I should hear back the Thursday or Friday after my interview and I got an offer Sunday. I just checked my status and it says under consideration still

I got offered last Wednesday but my status still says under consideration! I wonder if it stays that way until we sign an offer!
