Hi everyone! I thought I would start a thread for CHOC Children's RN Residency that is starting in August 2020. I'm super excited to be applying to the NICU!
Fingers crossed for some good news in the coming months!
I’m kinda bummed I didn’t get at least an interview because I have pediatric experience but I want to change specialities so I figured to apply for the fellowship program. I’m wondering if I should just apply to a regular PICU position or just wait until the next round for the fellowship program opens again. Anyone have any insight? LOL.

Is this for both residency and fellowship ?
Does anyone know if we get notified of rejection? Like an email or call? I have been waiting for a while and want to know if we actually get notified

I’m in the same boat. Not sure if I should just apply to a regular PICU position or wait for next round of fellowship. I have step down ICU experience. Ugh this is so tough. PICU is my dream :-(((

Hi! I also interviewed for the NICU new grad residency. Have you heard anything since interviewing, and do they ask for a reference check? Thank you!

No I haven't heard, they told me expect 2 weeks for a response at the latest. There was some question about getting my license transferred to CA in time though so I don't know if I'll hear from them. And no I haven't, gotten anything about letters of rec yet! The interview experience was really good though, I hope it was the same for you! They all seemed so nice!!
