Hi everyone! I thought I would start a thread for CHOC Children's RN Residency that is starting in August 2020. I'm super excited to be applying to the NICU!

Fingers crossed for some good news in the coming months!

I interviewed for the PICU residency as an external applicant 3 weeks ago, was told I would hear back by the end of that week. I still have not heard anything. Called HR and left a message last week, but still haven't heard anything. My application still says "under consideration".

I had a feeling ?. I've been wanting to transfer to CHOC for a while now but I guess it's not meant to be. LOL.

heard nothing from NICU fellowship yet...kind of losing hope at this point?

it still says under consideration though...anyone hear back anything?

They have already filled up NICU new grad positions. 4 applicants were selected among 200 applications.

However, they are accepting more applicants for the fellowship program...

Do you mean for interviews because one of my friends is supposed to interview

I have no idea. HR called me yesterday and said, they will or hired 4 people among 200 pp.

They will hire 4 people. If your friend already got an invitation, that is awesome! She might be one of them. Good luck!
