Hi everyone! I thought I would start a thread for CHOC Children's RN Residency that is starting in August 2020. I'm super excited to be applying to the NICU!
Fingers crossed for some good news in the coming months!

I remember seeing on the application that they had until June 12th to notify for interviews. Online it says we will be notified after positions are filled if we did not make it. So either way we should know!
Keeping my fingers crossed for us!

CVICU I believe finished all interviews in May, I interviewed on the last day of interviews. They only offered one fellowship position this time.
Yes, but didn't you apply to the fellowship? I am talking about new graduate CVICU residency positions. I do not believe they are the same thing?

Wait when you say only one fellowship position do you mean only one for the CVICU or for all the units? Have you heard of anything for PICU fellowship by chance?
Yes- but I was told they finished all interviews. They typically interview for all positions for the unit in a grouping. Fellowships/Residency programs still take the same classes and start on the same dates- fellowships just have shorter orientations due to exp.

For CVICU only 1 fellowship was being offered. The HR rep offered me this information. Not for PICU- she mentioned NICU and CVICU.
