Here are my two cents, I applied for med/surg and am still waiting as well. I hope I get an interview! Graduated BSN in December 2011. Let's all stay positive!!

i find it interesting that i was able to finish my app before i got the email from choc about the job postings. also, i got another email from them regarding the new grad job postings on friday 4/6? i just checked and it looks like the postings are still up? well, maybe it's because of the weekend. last interesting tid-bit is regarding the rn ii fellowship postings. these positions are for rn's with at least one year acute care experience. interesting....... wish i could qualify!
peds is where my heart is and where i want to be eventually but, i feel like i need to get anything acute at this point (at least before i finish a year working as an rn) . crazy thing is i have a great job...it is just not what i plan on doing with my career. i also feel i will lose most of my skills if i stay at my current job for too long. nonetheless, i know i am blessed to have a ft rn job that is very low stress, pays pretty well, and is in a great environment. i am just quite board and disappointed that i am not doing my heart's work with children and their families! sorry to be so winded...it has just been quite a journey! hope everyone had a great easter! god bless! :heartbeat

I didn't realize so many people who graduated last year are still applying now - extra good luck to you guys! I'm graduating next month, tomorrow is my last day of senior practicum. I applied to oncology and don't have a status change yet. It looks like applications are still open except for NICU, so fingers crossed :)

I got called yesterday for an interview for CVICU, but it's in person and not a phone interview. My classmate has an interview in the same unit. :) I wonder if different departments are doing it differently.

Does anyone know if there is some kind of date that if we don't hear something then that means we have hit the end of the road for CHOC? When does this program start?
per their website: start date of August 6, 2012
