CHOA Spring 2016 Residency

Published

Has anyone applied to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta nurse residency program for spring 2016??

I wonder when the application closes....I'm assuming I'm out. But idk.

I haven't heard anything either

I got a call today for an interview in the cardiac icu!

Awesome, I am so happy for you! Congratulations!! My top 3 choices were Neonatal ICU, PICU, and med-surg. Honestly, I'm not picky, I just want Children's! I just finished my digital interview this afternoon... My BP is still through the roof lol. I don't think anything can truly prepare one for a digital interview.. unless you are a vlogger on YouTube... I would much rather vibe off someone's energy. :) Good luck everyone!

I had my interview today! It was awesome! I will let y'all know if I get a call back!

That's great! What other hospitals besides CHOA, Emory, and Piedmont offer new grad residencies in the ATL area? Judging by all of these posts, I figure most hospitals start looking/interviewing around this time of year (?)

My account says "under review" but I still have not received an email for a digital interview... Does anyone know if a lot of people have already done their digital interview/interviewed in person yet?

How long after you applied did you hear about your digital interview? Also, Did you do your extern there the summer before or anything at CHOA?

My account says the same thing, & I haven't received an email either to complete a digital interview.

Northside, Dekalb, and Wellstar also do new grad residencies. I completed my digital interview with CHOA about a month ago. Have most people already been contacted for an in-person interview?

I have completed my digital interview, interviewed in person and now have an offer!

I submitted my application March 2nd and still have not heard back. I keep wondering if I submitted my application too late or if I'm not being considered because I am from out of state. I'm worried since I have not had a digital interview yet. :(
