CHOA Spring 2016 Residency

Published

Has anyone applied to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta nurse residency program for spring 2016??

Awesome, I am so happy for you! Congratulations!! My top 3 choices were Neonatal ICU, PICU, and med-surg. Honestly, I'm not picky, I just want Children's! I just finished my digital interview this afternoon... My BP is still through the roof lol. I don't think anything can truly prepare one for a digital interview.. unless you are a vlogger on YouTube... I would much rather vibe off someone's energy. :) Good luck everyone!

Have you heard anything??

Someone from HR told me that they are still reviewing digital interviews and applications and will be continuing to do so over the next several weeks. So don't worry just yet!

How can I get in touch with someone from HR? I cannot find any contact information and am concerned as to when the application process closes. Also do I need to attach my transcript?

Thank you!

Did you just apply for the graduation residency program or did you also apply for a position on a specific floor?

The application asks you what floors/units you are interested in

Okay then I filled it out correctly. I went back in to check my application since it has been a week or so and it said something about applying for open positions. Thank you!

I have completed my digital interview, interviewed in person and now have an offer!

Congrats!!! Did you have to take the PEDS test when you had your interview/before you got an offer??

No, CHOA does not do that anymore

Congrats! Quick question, did you happen to work/intern at CHOA? I applied 3/1 and have been waiting and waiting. This is hospital is my dream place to work and so I will keep waiting. I tried contacting a recruiter, but the HR representative said they were too busy with applications. Fingers crossed something happens soon

I honestly have never worked or volunteered at CHOA so I have no idea how I got picked lol

Anyone applied in March heard anything yet?

I applied early March and application still says under review.

anyone heard back from the NICU or PICU?
