Hello,
Did anyone hear back for the March 2014 application?
Congrats VintageSwagger! I would take the offer and still go on the interview! I'm thinking you can still decline it if you get get chla... Better to have a safety net. I actually asked my bf about what I should do if that were to happen and he said if worse comes to worse, you can give your two weeks notice bc chla doesn't start til march. Anyway they should have some alternates if you don't take their offer.
I agree with mkhim. I would accept the position and still continue interviewing. If you land your dream job or a better offer presents itself, you can always tell the original hospital that you have to turn down the position after all. I always look at it like this, if a hospital had to cancel their residency or lay off for budgetary reasons etc...., they wouldn't think twice about letting you go.
hellooo! has anyone had any updates after the screening for the ED? 2nd interview? rejection letter?it looks like someone from the facebook thread received a letter.
ANY updates would be nice =)
A friend of mine finally got a call early this week to schedule a second interview with the ED. I don't have any more info than that- not sure if they've called everyone yet.

Thanks RN_CA2013!!! I've never precepted at CHLA, but I did do my 6th semester preceptorship at Millers children's hospital in LB on their Hem/Onc unit.
And congrats to you too!!
