hello everyone... CONGRATS elsey43!!! I asked HR about friday being the last day for calls... she said no some units are just going straight to interviews. So hold in there everyone!!! Has anyone had a call for ED? or have they went through the prescreening for ED?
I haven't heard anything and my first choice is the ED. The lady I spoke to said they'd be calling next week also and they'll send an email if you're not selected so there's still hope!!!
The unit managers were really nice so it's hard to tell whether or not I did good for my prescreening....just keeping my phone by me and crossing my fingers now. I forgot to ask this at the end but when should I stop anticipating a phone call regarding the second interview?
I don't know if this is the case for all units, but this is what I was told by HR or the recruiter (whoever it was that called me in for the pre-screening).
She said they are doing pre-screenings through May 7 and then will let people know either way about a week after that whether they get a formal interview. I applied for NICCU, so I don't know whether that info is specific to that unit or not. Good luck!
Thank you everyone. Waiting really is the worst part! Best of luck to everyone :) and don't give up until you actually get an email or phone call saying you weren't selected. I do think its true that all of the units are different and some may not be doing the prescreening. Oh and I found out that for BMT & hem/onc, they're hiring 12 total for that entire 4th floor. I'm not sure how that is divided up.

Did you find out about the number of spaces they want to fill from the managers that interviewed you?
