Wanted to start a new forum for those of you applying for the RN New Grad Program for the Spetemper 2013 cohort.

Just got called into interview for OR. She said she was calling 11 applicants for 3-4 spots. SO HAPPY!

Congrats! Those numbers are better than CTICU. The person who contacted me said that CTICU usually hires 5-7, and they are interviewing 25 for the 1st round this cohort.

For 1st round last time (BMT and Heme/Onc) they asked the question that they tell you to prepare. They also asked about 5 year plan, strengths and weaknesses, and ... that's all I can remember. It was a pretty short interview. Good luck to all!

When you say first round, are you talking about the pre-screening interview? Or is that something different? I have a pre-screening interview with the NICCU managers on Wed AM and was told it is only 10 minutes.

Has anyone had their pre-screening yet? Just wondering which questions they ask, other than why you want to work there.

I was not told to prepare for any certain question, other than why I want to work in NICCU. Do you mean a question from the application?

Hi BorgQueen1701, I also got an interview for the OR. Did she tell you it would be 1hr long? That's a long interview, I'm wondering if we will have an essay or math test? It is one to one though...

Yeah she said the OR is doing the interview backwards, the 1 on 1 first...and then the panel later if we move on. What day are you going?
