CHLA RN Residency Sept 2018

Hi everyone! I created this thread for all of us who are applying to the RN Residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles for the September 2018 cohort. We can keep each other posted on application status and interviews. What unit did everyone apply to? I applied to the NICCU.

Brittanyswb14, not yet! Nervously awaiting. I did call them yesterday and the guy told me units are sending out interview requests over the next few weeks, and if you don't get chosen, they'll also notify via email! (I know it's a vague response lol)

I heard from him/onc tonight! Because I'm out of state I am doing a digital interview. I called CHLA today and the person I spoke to said that they will be emailing this week and some of next week too :)

I also heard from heme/onc earlier this evening and will be doing a digital interview as well. From the email it seems as though it will be more of a recording of my responses than a live skype interview.

My guess is that they are extending video interviews first since those take a while. Crossing fingers that in person ones will be soon.

Do you think the sooner you complete it the better? I'm out of town this weekend so wondering about the best time to complete it haha
