NCLEX JUNE 2018
I am officially a RN. The Pearson Vue Trick worked for me. As stated before, I live in CA and there are no quick results. However, less than 48 hours after my exam my name and license number are on the California Board of Registered Nursing's website! My advice to those taking the exam soon: 1. Go for it. The longer you wait, the more anxiety and other people's perception of the test are going to cloud your judgement. 2. UWorld prepared me well for this exam as well as nursing school. From day one they have been training us how to take this exam. 3. Do whatever you need to do to go into that testing room with calm nerves and a clear mind!

NCLEX JUNE 2018
Not that this is 100% reliable, I have now tried the Pearson Vue trick 6 hours after my exam and got the "good pop up." I still need to see some license numbers before I start celebrating but this will help me stay a little more calm the next few days as I wait for official results :)

NCLEX JUNE 2018
I am almost sure the pass rate at my school was 95%. However, I went to school in Las Vegas and moved back to California after graduation.

NCLEX JUNE 2018
I took my NCLEX today at 10:30 AM. My test shut off at 75 questions. I do not feel terrible after my exam, and felt the test was fair. Each question I was asked, I knew what they were talking about and what they were asking of me to answer. I was always able to get it down to at least 2 answers if I felt unsure. I am glad I pulled the trigger and just went and took my exam versus delaying. Having had waited longer would have built up my anxiety and the test more than what it needed to be! I live in CA and there are no quick results here. I need to wait for my name to appear on the BON website, a license in the mail, or a notice of failure in the mail. So hopefully I will be seeing my name on the website very soon :)

NCLEX JUNE 2018
I take my exam in California on Wednesday, the 27th! I go from feeling confident to wanting to change my test date. I've been focused heavily on uworld and use HURST to back up any core content I feel shaky about. I took my two predictor tests on uworld and got "very high" chance of passing on each one. I'm averaging 65% overall in the question bank and have about 1000 questions left.

California ATT 2018
Just trying to gauge where everyone is at in California in terms of 1. Receiving your ATT 2. How you are studying for the big day! 3. Or if you have taken it and passed, any advice?! I applied for licensure by exam on 4/16/2018. My school sent my transcripts on 5/10/2018. The CA BON has not updated their website since 5/21 to show what applications they are currently processing. As of now, their website says they are processing applications for those that applied 4/1-4/15. Anyone who applied then receiving their ATT? I have had zero updates on my Breeze account. I am trying to stay focused and study hard. I purchased a 90 day q bank with UWorld, and purchased the LaCharity book that people have raved about being the "tool" that helped them pass the NCLEX. I feel the questions in there are too easy. UWorld definitely makes me feel more confident as I am challenged more with that. My school made Hurst Review mandatory before we graduated and we all took it as a class. I cant say I recommend it.

CHOC 2018 Spring Residency
I felt my resume could possibly be over looked as well but I feel it is such a vital part of an interview process if an employer wants to invite you in, I can't imagine them not looking at that. I have experience as ancillary staff in a children's hospital and did not list my clinicals in the application itself. I'm trusting that they will definitely look at everything :) our anxiety is just getting to us! Trying to land our first jobs is very stressful!
