  1. I also just got an email after reaching out to a recruiter--most Adult ICUs are also not hiring for the August cohort. I wish that they would have had a list of units that were hiring before applying.
  2. Mine is 8am on the 29th. What about you? IDK how to start prepping for a group interview, I barely like to talk about myself hahaha.
  3. Did anyone else receive information about the interview being a group panel, with 4 other new grad candidates? That spikes up the anxiety for me...
  4. The HR department is going through some changes, the main point of contact is going on maternity leave! Don't give up, they are a little delayed. That is what I last heard from a friend working at LPCH.
  5. Kris--unfortunately no. So I'm guessing it might not work out for an interview this time around.
  6. natRN, how did you hear back? Did they call you? I applied for Critical Care track as well, have not heard anything. Just wondering if I should still keep my hopes up.
  7. If anyone could give some insight, I tried to answer the Assessment honestly (not always Strongly Agree on kiss-ass comments). Could it be that they were looking for those types of answers for the Assessment? I wonder if that's what has stopped a lot of people from being interviewed.
  8. I emailed HR and got an auto generated response that all interviews were scheduled. This is a bummer if true. Should I even bother calling to see if this is the case?
  9. Competition is fierce! I did not move forward with PICU but wish best of luck to everyone who is moving forward to all their second-rounds.
  10. I had my speed interview today. All I can say is really be yourself! They will ask random questions that will make it easy to put your foot in your mouth if you're not thinking about it. Some related to nursing, most not. There's no way to plan ahead of time except just know your strengths, be yourself, and all they want to do is get to know YOU as a person.
  11. I spoke with the recruiter that called me for my interview. From my understanding, she's only in charge of certain units, so I'm not sure who the point of contacts are for non-PICU.
  12. When I spoke with her she said she's calling around 30 *from* the pool of PICU folks that applied. I believe that pool was the 200. :) But that's not to say she's done calling people yet, so I'm still crossing fingers for everyone!
  13. Can confirm, I also got a call tonight for an in-person interview with PICU next week! :) So excited!
  14. My guess is that they are extending video interviews first since those take a while. Crossing fingers that in person ones will be soon.
  15. Awesome, thank you so much for this timeline! The anxiety is killing me, but at least we'll hear back in the next 2 weeks.
