Hey guys! I am starting this for the March 2024 Cohort at CHLA. As people hear back about interviews, hopefully we can update each other.

Any tips on the first round of interviews? Is it more like behavioral type questions or should I be preparing for scenario type questions too?
Last time the first round of interviews they just ask the essay questions. They said the interviewers may not be the person who read your application. So you can answer the same as how you responded in yout essay response or another answer if you want. I just did all my essay answers.

thank you so much and GOOD LUCK to everyone! ❤️
So at first, I didn't get an email interview either.. but then one of the talent acquisitions texted me about signing up for the interview. I think they may have sent mine to an incorrect email. Maybe also check the spam folder! But yea, if you didn't get an email.. they WILL text you to make sure you get sign up for it if you're still interested.

Thank you! I'm curious if they send our rejection emails?

What's the longest I should wait before I know I got rejected?

Yeah no prob. I was asked why this department, how do I handle conflict/ a difficult patient, time I made a mistake, why nursing, my fav clinical day and least fav day, how I'd respond to constructive criticism and what if the criticism is mean, a time I was a leader, where do I see myself in 5 years... I think there was more but I don't remember haha. Basically behavioral type questions and a few getting to know you questions.
