Starting this thread for anyone who's applying to the Summer cohort of Children's National Nurse Residency Program! I'll be a new grad in May, Wondering if anybody else has interviewed or heard back from them!?

I applied! I attended a session with the nurse recruiter who said they just finished interviewing people for the Spring cohort. We might not hear back for a few months for the Summer cohort.

I applied and interviewed last week for a position starting in August for the PICU. So hopefully you will head back and interview for yours soon. Good luck!

So worried about holding out and waiting for Children's to get back to me. A bunch of my applications say "under review" but no kind of communication or anything. I know a bunch of people who had already worked there as externs/techs and now have jobs there. Do we think they're still going to reach out to people in the month of March?

Hey! Which units did you apply to? Are you waiting to be contacted about an interview? Or have you already interviewed?

Hey, I’m not sure but I am also worrying! I interviewed with NICU but my application still just says “complete.”

Hey! I applied to alot of the units back in January and haven’t heard from a recruiter or anything. I’ve heard their process is slow but like I said I know people who interviewed already so really IDK. I guess I’m just worried about passing off other job opportunities in hopes they get back to me.

I just accepted a job on the surgical care unit! I'll be starting on August 8!

after my interview with the CICU, I shadowed last Thursday and got offered a job later that day!

I accepted a offer last month for the NICU starting April 18! Is anyone else here in that cohort with me?
