Starting this thread for anyone who's applying to the Summer cohort of Children's National Nurse Residency Program! I'll be a new grad in May, Wondering if anybody else has interviewed or heard back from them!?

Also would anyone mind sharing the starting new grad pay and parking situation? I want to consider Children's compared to other offers I have, but it is a bit difficult without that information.
Thanks!
Hey!
I applied on Jan 18 and got a call for an Interview on Jan 21…. Interviewed on Feb 2 and got my offer one Feb 4….. my case might be a little different because I never heard from a recruiter until I got my offer. I heard directly from the operations manager for NICU/PICU
for parking when you work day shift you park off campus and shuttle over. When you work nights you can park on campus. The money to pay to park comes out of your check
Hi! I applied on Jan 15th and heard back from the unit manager on Feb 22nd. Before that, it showed on my portal that my "application is under review". If it shows "completed" you have not been selected for the position. I had my interview March 1st via zoom and got an offer the next day!
Its on the surgical care unit and I begin August 8th. The shift I got hired for because its the residency is rotating days and nights for 4 weeks at a time and parking is off site during the day. Good luck and hope you get hired!!
Oops forgot to mention the new grad pay- here are the words directly from my offer letter. "Your salary will be $32.00 per hour, at 72 hours per pay period, totaling $59,904.00 annually plus shift
differential. Shift differentials range from 10−25%; 10% ($35.20) Sat and Sun days, 15% ($36.40) Mon
Thurs evening, 20% ($38.40) Mon Thurs night and Fri, Sat, Sun evenings, and 25% ($40.00) Fri, Sat, and
Sun night. You have been scheduled for day, night rotation including every other weekend." Hope this helps!
