I decided to create this thread for anyone applying to Children's Medical Center of Dallas for the July 2016 Nurse Residency Program! Good luck to everyone! Found out that I'm interviewing for the PICU and TICU (Trauma ICU). Those were my top choices :-) Congrats everyone on your interviews and good luck!

I was getting really sad about not getting an e-mail, BUT I JUST GOT MINE. I will be interviewing for the CV ICU, which is at once scary and exciting. I chose CV ICU as a second choice, because I know how complicated and critical cardiac kids can be. BUT I'M READY. I'm just happy I'm part of the got-the-interview club.

Is anyone else interviewing on Monday?! I know the official day is Tuesday, but my roommate got an interview for Monday and we aren't sure what this means? Hope to meet yall at the Residency Meeting on Tuesday :)

Just kidding I found the residency meeting info. I won't be able to make it, I have another job interview Tuesday at 8am and an exam at noon :(. Hopefully I don't miss too much.

Where did you find information about the nurse residency meeting?

I just asked the recruiter. She said the meeting is with the program coordinator just to go over general expectations, etc. They are Tuesday 3/8 at 8am and noon. She also said they will be having them on Monday 3/14 at the same times. Still waiting for location info from her, but I'll pass it along when I hear.
