Hey all! Just starting a thread for those who’ve applied to the upcoming March 2021 cohort for Children’s Hospital Colorado. I know the application period does not end until Dec 11, but wanted to start the topic early for those who want to ask questions, advice, consult, chit chat, etc.

Just got an email saying the hiring manager has “canceled” the job opening in Colorado Springs! Did anyone else get this?

Yes! I was just typing a response then saw yours come through. Does this mean the Anschutz opening is still a go?

I got it too. The person I spoke with in HR said she was unsure if CO Springs was still having it at that point but was unsure. But at that time Anschutz was still having theirs!

Oh no! That’s a shame ? I hope they go ahead & continue with the Anschutz residency... fingers crossed. Thanks for contacting HR for us btw!

No problem! I was getting worried haha. I hope they do too and I hope we hear soon! She mentioned that there were a lot of applicants so that makes me nervous. 

What are yalls plans if they cancel Anschutz? It is already so late in the game!

Just got my rejection from Anschutz! Kinda suprised but it must have been a competitive year! Good luck to everyone with interviews!

Rejected here as well, bummer! Also a little surprised considering my qualifications, but I understand it can be super cut-throat sometimes, especially if the Colorado Springs residency was cancelled. Good luck to everyone offered an interview! ?
