Oh my gosh yesssss!! So happy to hear this! I cringed everytime I thought about travel nursing in the future and having to go through the months long process with the California Board of Nursing again. Nursys, I believe, is instantaneous, so Minnesota should receive it same day you endorse it to them.

Sheesh! LOL, maybe they print the shipping label and pack it but don’t actually ship it for awhile... either way, glad it finally worked out for you! Hopefully same here, and for everyone else who might stumble across this thread in their own struggles with the BRN

Hey Meg! Did you ever get the license? I was able to keep my application open with Washington state after emailing, so thank you for that tip! I finally got through and was told they mailed the letter to Washington’s board around 2/10, or a week or so ago. Now I’m just hoping, after all this, it actually arrives there hahaha

Wowwww this is all honestly a bit ridiculous... I’ll definitely call first thing Monday. That is so frustrating!! Have no clue why they won’t switch to a more efficient system like Nursys...

Hey Meg! Sorry, this process is also very confusing to me. I mailed my certification request form and it was delivered to the BRN in Sacramento on 12/01/2020. I check my breeze account and it says “Submission Date: 01/29/2021” Does this mean it’s finally being looked over & shipped soon? I would hope it wouldn’t take more than a business week to mail the letter from California to another state board... I’m about 2 weeks away from Washington state closing my application due to this one deficiency and it’s super frustrating.

Super weird! I figured at least one person on here for sure would snag an interview, alas... wishing everyone luck on their nursing journeys regardless! I recently started an RN position with CVS giving COVID vaccinations within the community that I have been enjoying, if anyone has been seeing any similar positions. Great pay, company, and experience in the meantime! ☺️

Rejected here as well, bummer! Also a little surprised considering my qualifications, but I understand it can be super cut-throat sometimes, especially if the Colorado Springs residency was cancelled. Good luck to everyone offered an interview! ?

Hey there!! I haven’t heard anything back either. I definitely agree, probably delayed due to the holidays & COVID. I think a non-response is better than a “no” response, since they stated everyone will hear back on their application regardless of status. Keep the faith yall! Good luck to everyone!

Hey there! I haven’t heard back either yet. On their website, the main page for the nurse residency program has a section “Application Requirements”, and has a downloadable list of units currently hiring for the residency, which is how I made my unit choices. I don’t think the job posting reflected that though, which is a bummer. :(

Hey there! I am applying for a Washington license via endorsement (CA RN currently) as an out-of-state applicant. I submitted my online application yesterday, how long did it take for them to mail you the ink fingerprint cards? Thank you so much!
