Filling out this form now to send off to Harrisburg...am I really expected to know my addresses since 1975? I wasn't even born until '80! I don't know where I lived when I was 2!
Sorry if this is a stupid question (my bf keeps telling me there is no way they could know its incomplete), I just know there is no way I can remember that stuff, I've lived in a lot of places. But I'm worried some how that it will come back to haunt me some way...
and everyone I've ever lived with...does this include college roomates??
I just followed the instructions that my school provided me with, and completed the forms they provided. I wouldn't want to take the chance that for some reason what was provided online would not be accepted by my nursing program.
jennheidkamp I wouldn't worry, I think you would receive it sometime next week, but if not, maybe look into doing the online checks, the day before you need them. No need to pay the $10 twice....yet.
I got my PA state police criminal clearance back in about 10 days. Unfortunately last year the Child Abuse clearance took a lot longer, I think maybe 3 weeks. I had a residence out of state in 1975, so I figure it may take a bit longer to check there.
I've still got 4 weeks to go before my clearances expire, so hope to get results by then. I know they won't let us continue clinical without valid clearances.
Really? I had several out of state residences, and it was under 2 weeks to get the results. I guess it just depends on who opens the mail that day, and how long it sits on someone's desk...
Did it really only take a little over a week to get back? I need mine by May 1st and am scared to death I wont get it in time. I sent it last Friday priority mail.

I just got my child abuse clearance back, 16 days after I mailed it. That's a little faster than last year. The PA State Police clearance only took about a week or so. So you've got a good chance of getting it back in time.

I am also afraid I won't get my child clearances on time b4 May 22nd.
I called the police and was told my clearance had already been mailed out. that would have made it about a week of processing.
However, the Child Abuse Registry has no information on my request. Both were mailed the same time so I believe they've already got it.
Are they going to waste my time verifying all my addresses in different countries abroad? They must be kidding me.I am thinking maybe I shouldn't have filled all addresses.

According to my clearances I printed out, the Act 34 is the PA Child Abuse History clearance. All from the PSP website.
