I am planning on applying to Chico states' Nursing program for spring start. I just got my acceptance letter for the school itself, but have no yet applied to the program yet.
I just want to know about the school a little more. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about the city itself and the school, the good and the bad.
If you can just tell me your opinions about the academics, the staff, and faculty I would love to hear.
I would also appreciate what you think of the people and the city itself.
I have a tour scheduled for in a few weeks, but I really would like to hear what other people think too.
I ordered the bottom list from the FADavis, the fundamentals book from the website listed, and all the rest from amazon.
No, I only have two so far.
I need to go out and buy a bookcase for them all today! What other supplies are you ladies buying? I sent in my order form and I'm trying to think of everything else I'll need. Like a printer, clinicals bag, etc.
I only received the APA book so far. The order books won't be delivered until AFTER I have already moved up to chico.
I don't even know what I should buy for school. I'm just trying to get all these forms finished and mailed out first. I just sent out my scrub order today.
@k2115, do you remember how long it took for your Fundamentals book to be delivered? There's not tracking number or anything for mine so i'm trying to figure out if they have even shipped it yet.
All I have left is my insurance. But covered California is being dumb right now and having issues.
I JUST tried to register, but all the sections for Enloe are filled I knew i should have stayed up late last night or woken up really early this morning. I'm wait listed for section one.. LOL Think anyone would change their mind and decide to drop and go to a different section? Haha
I'm nervous I'm going to get dropped from the classes. I was told by the school that as long as I have enough pending financial aid to cover tuition, then I don't have to pay and it'll come straight from financial aid on the 16th. But on my portal it says I owe, and it's worrying me. I need to call when they open just to make sure (again) that they don't drop me. Did you guys pay already?
K2115, Don't worry about it. I was registered for another class a couple of weeks ago and the whole time they told me that i owed money and it was due now. I never paid but i was never drop.
WHat they told you was correct. As long as you receive financial aid that covers the fees, then you don't have to pay. The financial aid will be disbursed beginning jan 15, and fees will be deducted from the financial aid and whatever you have leftover will be sent to you.
Also, i noticed on our portal is says for all the sections that clinic times are all 7-3:45 on monday. BUt i know in our packet the first 3 weeks we all start at different times. So like when the 4th week hits, do we ALL have clinic at 7 regardless of our sections?
