Chico State University Reviews

Published

Hi everyone.

I am planning on applying to Chico states' Nursing program for spring start. I just got my acceptance letter for the school itself, but have no yet applied to the program yet.

I just want to know about the school a little more. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about the city itself and the school, the good and the bad.

If you can just tell me your opinions about the academics, the staff, and faculty I would love to hear.

I would also appreciate what you think of the people and the city itself.

I have a tour scheduled for in a few weeks, but I really would like to hear what other people think too.

Thank you! :)

I can't even register yet. I emailed P***** post-baccs are not going to be accepted to the university until everyone is back from break. That also means I won't know my financial aid award until then either :(

Thanks for the info jenny!

I believe clinicals is the same time Monday for everyone after the first three weeks.

That stinks Ceci! I know someone else having the same issue.

@k2115, no problem. I guess it won't really matter which section i'm in then if either section 1 or 2 opens up. I live only 3 minutes away from Enloe, and right now I gotta travel 30 minutes just to go to clinics. :(

@Ceci81, that's a real bummer, especially since I don't think they're going to open until like next week huh? Not just that but sometimes they may take long to do things.

At least you don't really have to fight to get other courses too, but really clinic times.

DO you guys think if i made a FB group for our nursing group, anyone would join? I know there's only 40 of us, but it would keep us connected if we need help.

I definitely would :) I've heard that's a really good idea from current students.

I created one :). Search csu, chico nursing class of 2016 (i think that's when we graduate) haha.

I couldn't find it. :/

That's weird.

Try searching "CSU, Chico Nursing Class of 2016" exactly. Maybe it'll come up that way.

I think groups that don't have a lot of members are difficult to find.

I think it's because it's also fairly new.

Has anyone gotten the meningitis vaccine? There are two different types, menveo & menactra. I am trying to decide if I should get the shot and which one?

@bri02, I got it when I was younger so I don't really know which one I got. It's not really a requirement so it's not too important to get right now. I would worry about all the other stuff first
