Chico State Fall 2018

Hello all!!

I noticed there was no thread for fall 2018, so i decided to make one.

I have applied to 4 colleges for Fall semester, most are community colleges and Chico of course.

Im applying with 89 points I believe...not sure. This is my first time applying to Chico.

How many points are you guys applying with? What other colleges are you looking into?

Omg hey!!! I'm so indecisive right now lol. I'm like 70% leaning towards CSULB right now but I also want to consider closer schools to my hometown like sac and Chico. It's hard every day I change my mind lol but as of right now I'm most likely going to CSULB

HELL YEAH! CSULB is where it's at! Long Beach has some of the highest NCLEX pass rates out of all CSUs and the weather there is absolutely perfect. Your name is Kellyn right? I believe we have a mutual acquaintance. Ruby. She told me that you're brilliant.

Yes thats my name!! I feel terrible to say that I do not recall having a friend named Ruby considering the fact they complimented me like that lol, I'm better with faces instead of names. But I am very flattered and I appreciate the compliment from them! lol

Oh, Ruby is just one of the names she goes by. Maybe with you, she goes by "Ploy." She is the second daughter of Tony, the owner of Pearl Thai Cuisine in Benicia(Southampton), who I worked for at one time.

Oh I know a girl named Nutnicha and she's one of the daughters of the owner of Pearl Thai Cuisine lol, we go to the same community college and went to the same high school together. Small world!

Yup, that's her. But anyway, I don't know about you but I feel so glad to have made it in the top 30 for CSULB. You saw all those poor people still waiting for an answer from them?!?!?

Omg yeah!!! I feel bad because all the girl friends I have made either through the group interview or the thread haven't gotten in and are waitlisted, but I am super thankful that I have a spot in their nursing program. I would honestly be a wreck right now if I didn't get into there, I'm just a little worried about moving so far away but I really did love it when I visited for interview day.

Yeah! Only ten minutes from the beach, which has THE BEST running trail ever! okay, so rivaled by santa monica's but you get what I mean. Everything is just better down there.

Do you guys think we will hear by this week? or maybe next week for sure?

I'm getting really excited.

will the emails come to our wildcat mail if we are accepted and then everyone else gets letters in the mail for waitlist and rejection? First time iv applied to Chico so I dont know what they do.

Hey! I'm super anxious to hear and I'm praying it's today or tomorrow and that they're on time. They said that we would be notified through our Nursing CAS application status. So I don't know if they're going to email us, or if Nursing CAS is going to send us an email. I really don't know, it's my first time too! Good luck though! I hope we both get it!
