Hello all!!

I noticed there was no thread for fall 2018, so i decided to make one.

I have applied to 4 colleges for Fall semester, most are community colleges and Chico of course.

Im applying with 89 points I believe...not sure. This is my first time applying to Chico.

How many points are you guys applying with? What other colleges are you looking into?

Hey guys! So basically you just go into the Student Center on your Chico Student Portal and then go to your application. If you've already been accepted to the school then you can go to confirm your acceptance, and there's an option where you can select "exempt". I promise it's super easy! Hope this helps!

Hi everyone! I am applying to Chico's program with 91 points, and it is my first choice! I am also applying to Fresno State's program. Also I would love to stay in contact with you guys if we get in and maybe see about housing together for the Fall since we would only have a few months to get that organized. Does anyone know when we are expected to hear back? Also I got an email regarding enrollment fee exemption if we are only attending if we get accepted into the nursing program, does anyone know how to go about that? I contacted nursing and they said to contact admissions and I haven't gotten a response to my email yet.

Hello, I've been admitted into cal state Chico for the fall of 2018 as a freshman, I'm majoring in pre-nursing and I have lots of questions, this thread felt like the appropriate place to ask so i was wondering if anyone could help?

Hey! We can totally answer questions but I would check out the school of nursing website Nursing Programs - School of Nursing - CSU, Chico in which they have the program stats, explanation of the points system, etc. and then also check out the Chico state nursing club website Chico State Nursing Club This is a club on campus that works to help pre-nursing students navigate everything, but that might be something to check out when you're at Chico in the fall. And then when you attend summer O they will answer a bunch of questions too and help you with figuring out your schedule and registration.

Hi everyone!

I was wondering- does anyone else see a message about being "provisionally admitted" into the school? My major says Pre-Nursing even though I am applying as a transfer student with all my requirements finished. I was hoping someone can clarify what this means if they received the same message on their CSU Portal.

Everyone's is provisionally admitted and under pre-nursing, your major will change once accepted into the nursing program

Hi there,

Does anybody know when/where can we send our final transcripts for classes that were in progress. I have tried to contact the nursing department but no luck. I was taking chemistry during the winter quarter, but I do not know where to send my transcripts. Thanks

Just wondering if anyone knows if you're able to submit an intent to enroll to more than one university. The deadline is May 1st for all of the Cal States and I'm still waiting on nursing program decisions from a couple of schools...not really sure what to do.
