Hello all!!
I noticed there was no thread for fall 2018, so i decided to make one.
I have applied to 4 colleges for Fall semester, most are community colleges and Chico of course.
Im applying with 89 points I believe...not sure. This is my first time applying to Chico.
How many points are you guys applying with? What other colleges are you looking into?
Good luck everyone!!!!

Hi libertybells!
So happy you started this thread :)
I believe I'm sitting at 83 points, which isn't the best but that's okay because I am applying to other schools as well...Sac State, Channel Islands and San Marcos. I would've applied to more but I unfortunately wasn't able to get into A&P 2 in time and these are the only schools that allow in progress classes during the spring.
Hoping more people post in this thread so we can all get to know each other and go through this whole stressful process together!

To let you have an idea, I expect to receive 91 points based on this:
4.00 Cumulative GPA (3pts)
Spanish Language (4pts)
Science (40pts)
Prereqs (20pts)
92 on ATI TEAS (20pts)
Co-req Completion (4pts)
...I still have courses in-progress so I cannot receive 3pts for science GPA. Hope this helps :)

Hi everyone,
I am applying with 90 points. I am nervous because it's right on the edge, and last semester's cut off point was 90. Hopefully, the competition isn't as high this year. I am also applying to Sac State. I'm really hoping I get into their program, but Chico is my backup plan.

Hi everyone! I'm applying for fall with 94 points
TEAS 91.3% (20)
science pre-reqs (40)
foundation pre-reqs (20)
GPA 3.9 (3)
science GPA 4.0 (3)
language proficiency (3)
volunteer (1)
co-reqs (4)
Chico is my second choice (my first is sfsu), but both schools are great I so I'm not opposed to either. Best of luck to everyone! Maybe if we're lucky we'll see some of each other in the fall!!
Does anyone know when we are expected to hear back? Also I got an email regarding enrollment fee exemption if we are only attending if we get accepted into the nursing program, does anyone know how to go about that? I contacted nursing and they said to contact admissions and I haven't gotten a response to my email yet.
@kmbxo I think we are expected to hear back between May 1st and May 15th. I was wondering the same thing! I am going to the "choose Chico" day on April 7th and was considering going there on Friday and asking the office in person... Please let us know what they say when they reply to you! thanks :)
