Chico State BSN Fall 2021

Hi there! 

I saw that there wasn't a thread yet for Chico's BSN program for this year's round of applications for the Fall 2021 cohort. Hoping to get a feel for this year's applicant pool. 

I wanted to make a thread where we could discuss the program and the application process! Feel free to drop your stats, questions, or comments below.

Has anyone not heard anything yet besides what was sent out last night about alternates?

I just heard back. I'm an alternate. However, I've committed to another CSU's BSN Program. ? Good luck to those on the waitlist and best wishes to those accepted!

Does anyone know when people who got accepted have to make their decision by? I'm on the waitlist and I'm trying to figure out when I'll hear back since the nursing department hasn't replied to any of my emails.

They had to respond by Monday. So there should be an update fairly soon. How many points did you have?

I had 92 points so I'm guessing I'm kind of low on the waitlist but I'm hopeful!

You never know! Its very possible that there are not many people between you and the #1 alternate spot haha. I wouldn’t lose hope until you have to. They also are getting a ton of emails, which may be why they’re not responding to you ?

No, I was accidentally put on the alternate list because they had my points wrong, but I was able to contact them and they fixed the mistake so I got in. This is my 4th time applying though so I kinda get how it works ?

Congrats!! I'm still waiting to hear back. I've emailed them twice and they still havent responded LOL

Thanks! Do you know how many people they usually waitlist? I saw a Chico Nursing Club video where a girl said she was 20th on the waitlist and got in??
