Chicago lpn 2011-2012 students

are there any students starting in the summer i wanted to know if any one you would like to start a study group or have already started one....i am a former malcolm x student RN so im use to the system....i faild due to lack of preparation for med surg....which is, as every nursing student knows, is a class not to be played with ....im just looking for a heads up and maybe a few friends that are starting in june as well

Are you starting in the LPN program in Humbolt..however you spell that.. it looks like there is a letter missing:o..in June? You found out already that you were accepted?

YEAH I FOUND OUT ...IM TAKING TEST THIS THUR....but i ended up getting the 3.0/4.0 test ...when i called the school they said it didnt matter... im hoping that practice test is not out dated to bad....but after that im in....have you taking test all ready...and why do you think my test can not be access is there some type of limit with there programs.....i want to take twice aday ....when i called customer service it will ring two times then hang up....i hope this is not a preview of the stuff ill be going through...smokky lets exchange numbers....

I haven't taken it yet.. I still am finishing my prereqs.. I still need to send in all of my transcripts... I'm applying to like 7 different schools or something like that so it's getting hard to keep track of everything.. :lol2: Next week I'm going to make a list of everywhere I have applied and what I still need to turn in. I really wasn't counting on starting at Wright..if I did get in..until the fall... I have to wait and see where I do get in and make a decision. What test did you have to take? TEAS or that COMPASS?

hi crshnnscott did you find out that you were elgible to take your teas test for this thursday? or did you find out that you were already fully accepted into wright's lpn program? i am asking because i am waiting on an acceptance letter for wright. i have already taken my teas test and passed and turned in all my transcripts and everything i needed. i just want to know if you got your letter, because the day of the teas exam the instructor told us that we wouldn't find out until the first weeks of may 2011.

how did you find out you gotconsider for summer LPN? i was calling school today morning and they said they will sent @ next week to all of the people who get accepted. Who did u speak to? i am hoping for LPN summer too... checking my @ box every 15 minutes... hopefully i will get that"one" email and finally can start!

Hon.. I haven't even sent in my stuff for Wright's LPN program.. I took the TEAS at Ambria this past Saturday..but I'm taking it over again at the end of the month for another school... I'm still debating on whether or not to apply to Wright's LPN.. I kinda rather go somewhere else even though it's so convenient because I live in Wicker Park near North and Ashland. I dunno maybe I'll still send in my transcripts and see what happens.

I do not believe anyone received their acceptance letters yet for Wright College. They are indeed behind and unorganized, so for those of us that have applied and passed the Teas test, we are still waiting to get the acceptance for the summer program 2011 that starts the 1st or 2nd week in June. I'm just praying and hoping I get the acceptance letter, so I can be on my way.

Hello, gosia06 I have applied to other schools before applying to Rush, I have been out of college for exactly a year nonw. I have a Bachelor's in Public Health. I started my undergrad as a Nursing student and changed it and now I want to obtain my nursing degree. Yes I passed my Teas exam with a 70 and hopefully I will get into the program. I have my CNA and more than the required pre-req's to Wright's Program. My science grades were average which is why I had to apply to wright and pray for acceptance. My GPA is 3.0. but I am still not certain if I will be accepted due to my average grades, maybe someone or many people did better than me in science class which could reframe me from not getting in. I really do pray that I get in though. How was your Teas and GPA?

I hope you receive acceptance in the program also. Keep us posted. IDK why Wright takes so long to give out acceptance letters especially because I have to give a two weeks notice to my job if I am starting the program at the beginning of June.

Hello all. I received my acceptance email today. And I am accepted into Wright's Nursing Program for Day Program Summer 2011. I am so Happy. I hope all is well with everyone else.
