Chicago FNP Preceptors

Hi! I am currently at Chamberlain and am having such A DIFFICULT time finding a preceptor. I lost count how many rejections I have had. Many gave me their word until it was time to work up contract and then I have been ghosted and the rest denied. I don't know where else to go! I have asked prior Chamberlain students, networked through the providers I work with, reached out to past employers. I don't know where else to look or what else to do and am so discouraged. Does anybody have this issue in the Chicagoland area? Anybody have recommendations for any potential preceptors or where else to look? Many, many thanks!

Also consider the American Association of Nurse Practitioners

I'm in IL but central part and I precept but am committed already for Winter 2019/2020.

The nurse I'm precepting asked me about a year ago

How would these organizations help me locate preceptors? I’m willing to try anything. I’ve been trying for a year now and still no luck. I’m so devastated.
