Hi there! I have an interview coming with for St Luke’s fall residency and was wondering how y’all felt about the interview? ? did y’all feel it was more difficult than others? Best way to prep? Thanks!

I am interviewing on the 12th, so no advise here yet. Good luck though!

has anyone received an offer from St. Luke's? I know today was the first day they were potentially going to be calling if you interviewed on 8/12/2020. Anxiously waiting!!

I received one not long ago for the Cardiothoracic ICU! Hope you hear soon!

I applied to Chi, but have not heard back. My application also states it is still under review. Seeing they have set up interviews and sent offer letters, guess I am no longer considered.

I also got an email in the morning today to schedule a zoom interview for Aug 12. Anyone know if they'll tell us what units we're interviewing for?

hi! I have upcoming zoom interview too, can you share some interview questions?

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to put this on here in case anyone sees it.

I got into St Luke's at the Woodlands for a Medsurg position. The residency position does not start until February, but I just wanted to start asking around. How was the telemetry exam? What kind of material did you use to study for it? Also, how was the Medsurg exam?

You don’t interview for a certain unit. You interview, they ask your top 3 and they place you where they see fit

Hi!  I'm applying to the next cohort for the October start date. I was wondering if you have the option to work in any unit or if they limit you to ICU and Med-Surg? Because I really want to do L&D or Peds.

80% of new grads hiring is at the Baylor St Luke’s Medical Center. They do not have L&D or Peds. If that is your #1 choice and you are not willing to work other units, then you Might not even get an interview. All of the 30 new grads they hired in Oct 2020 cohort are at the Medical Center location.

They are also not hiring ICU any more for new grads. If you want ICU, you’ll have to have 2 years of experience on an acute floor and apply to the ICU fellowship program that is 2 years in length.

Thank you for the info! Do you know if they are taking ADN's?

Does anyone know what the starting rate is for their new grads?
