How exciting! I currently have a 2 year old AND 3 month old and life is definitely busy and crazy already ? Nervous on how I’m going to juggle it all if I get accepted.

I think it’s so awesome seeing so many parents on here!! I actually have 4 friends who have been this program and I was surprised when they all said the average age of a nursing student is actually higher than people think, and that there were actually more parents than not in the program. I have four little girls, one of which has special needs, so that has definitely been on my mind during this whole process.

I've heard it's an extremely brutal program. Maybe people underestimate the amount of time needed to devote to it?

Amidst my own stalking of the nursing program page, I found this to be interesting. It's cool that the NCLEX-RN pass rate is so high! The completion rates concern me LOL.20210414_193516.thumb.jpg.e0368408058ea24618037276603cff7b.jpg

Take into account that people may decide once in the program nursing isn’t for them, some have life circumstances that cause them to have to drop out, which is reflected in these numbers too. Then they come back and graduate with a new class ☺️ It’s also a reason why they want people to have a CNA in the future so that people will typically know before getting in that it’s what they really want ? the program is hard, but it isn’t impossible. I have three kids and have maintained a B each term.

All very true, I hadn't considered those things. And that's awesome! Great job ?

I felt the same as you, then saw the other factors. You will do amazing!! The instructors really try to do everything to help you succeed, which I’ve found isn’t always common in nursing programs.

After I got my scoresheet last year I feel like it was another two-three weeks before I got my acceptance/alternate email

I think they give a week for any applicants that might need to appeal their score or correct any errors. not that we havent all caluculated our scores on our own already hahaha

Do you guys think we will be finding out the decisions in May? I've been hearing mix comments lately from applicants saying we will find out early May, late May or even early June. Not sure which one to believe!

I am hopeful that if we hear point totals by this week we will hear something early to mid May! ??

I think it varies year by year honestly it just depends if there’s any issues. But I really believe it will be early May.

Do they send score sheets as they finish or do you think they try and finish them all and then send them all out?

I imagine they probably send them all out at once.
