Chemeketa Community College Nursing Program Fall 2016

I am applying to Chemeketa's nursing program for Fall 2016. I am curious if anyone has any information about the test that they will be doing now instead of the essay? I'm mostly wondering how it will be graded? I wish we weren't the first year to have to do the test.. I'm worried about how it will be.

I hope they don't make us wait until June....so torturous!

It's an email. Last year they sent out regret emails first, then the waitlist ones and they sent the acceptance ones last.

I was told that about 191 people applied and that it would be sometime in May that they would let us know.

The first time I took the test the instructor said we would know around the beginning of May, and when I retook it she said middle of May. So I'm hoping by mid May we find out.

I called yesterday. They said by middle of May

Oh man I am so eager to know! I scored 352 which doesn't seem high compared to last year but with the test this year you never know. I got an 82 on the test which compared to other threads seems like a good Kaplan score but this thread makes it sounds like a lot of Chemeketa applicants did super well! I just want to know so I can deal with it one way or another!

It would be awesome if we all get in. Seems like a good group of supportive people. My neighbor is in her 2nd year and said it's way harder than the 1st year. Would be great to have a lot of helpful people.

I scored 352, as well. It seems so low compared to everyone else! Fingers crossed for everyone! Hopefully the month goes by quickly :)

They just sent out an email that any disputes over points need to be in by May 2nd. After that, as long as there isn't anything lengthy we should know soon. It sounds like another few weeks afterwards. Even though the email said June, I think it could be well before that. :)

I saw it in my inbox and got all excited because I thought it was the admissions email. I psyched myself up to open it and everything lol
