Cheapest NLNAC RN to BSN online program?

Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

Hello,

Trying to narrow down the cheapest online NLNAC accredited RN (ASN) to BSN program. There are a lot of schools out there! Plan to then pursue BSN to MSN at University of Washington. Any help is appreciated.

Specializes in psych, forensics, corrections, SANE..

I just checked out Univ of Wyoming and they in addition to tuition have a $40 per credit hour online fee, so add $160 to the cheap $100 which puts it over the cost of Marshall University, or so it appears. I too am looking for a cheap program, the expensive university fees make me sick! The nursing shortage is imposed upon society by the greedy people allowing universities to extremely overcharge, I really think if university in the US were free, the poverty level and debt level would greatly decrease, healthcare would greatly improve and so on... I almost was in the University of Dundee program and then the President Obama would not allow FASA loan money to overseas schools any longer!! So I was not able to further my nursing degree at University of Dundee, yes that still makes me upset because I can not pay cash for a degree program and I really wanted to go to the University of Dundee.

I know this thread is a couple years old at this point, but the information is really helpful having a list of schools with all of this information. I do want to update, for anyone else that comes along, University of Wyoming is no longer going to be the cheapest school out there. Look at their tuition charge. They started charging for out of state tuition. It's going to continue to go up over the next few years. It's still worth looking into if you're a Wyoming resident.

Anybody went through Marshall university lately? whats the average cost? do you like it? how are their course structure? How long does it take rn-bsn? anything will be appreciated.

Though a bit dated now, this is excellent info. Thank you to the researchers and contributors, especially paddler. I am saving it to reference when I get to "phase III" of my nursing education.
