Hello,
Trying to narrow down the cheapest online NLNAC accredited RN (ASN) to BSN program. There are a lot of schools out there! Plan to then pursue BSN to MSN at University of Washington. Any help is appreciated.

My school is Regionally and Nationally accredited and also has CCNE accreditation and they are extremely affordable. Western Governors University. Hope that helps!! I've read your school of choice for your MSN admission requirements and WGU fits the criteria. It is a flat rate around $3600 per six months no matter how many credit hours you take. You can follow their schedule or graduate early and save more money.
(Thanks for your replies!)
Alright, I've been manually going through the schools websites and of course they all have different credit/course requirements, and different enrollment dates and such. This is not an exhaustive list. My main criteria is cost and NLNAC status so I can transfer my credits. I really don't care how fast the program is, how hard it is or how "good" the school is.
Below is the list I have so far in alpha order. It excludes CCNE only accredited schools altogether. Total cost estimates are of course calculated based on the BSN GEU's only, (does not include extra fees that schools like to tag on the price later and such, and superfluous "special" classes they make you take, like "Information Technology", "Professional Application", or prerequisites like chemistry, stats, and math... blah blah). Actual expenses may be different depending on what General and Nursing credits you have that they will accept as a transfer and you will only find that out when you pay the application fee and forward your transcripts and they do a Credit Evaluation. The schools in italics also have online BSN to MSN programs! The Italicized schools with an * have a CLINICAL MSN degree, which is awesome. Most MSN degrees are managerial or educational, not clinical such as for Nurse Practitioner.

I don't know what the total is if you are paying all out of pocket, but I find Thomas Edison State College to be affordable.

University of Wyoming has a CCNE accreditation where as the schools listed above have NLNAC accreditations. Chamberlain and Drexel actually have both! Sometimes local employers prefer one over the other

Updating the Chamberlain info in this thread (it was discussed in Paddler's other thread, but not this one):
For Chamberlain's RN-BSN, it's $590/credit hour with 32 credits minimum ($18,880). That other figure assumes a student needs all 40-something credits.
Doesn't matter much anyway, because Chamberlain is never going to win the "cheapest" contest, but I thought it was a great program.
Another thing to consider beyond CCNE or NLNAC is also regional accreditation. Very important!
