Well, i got my littman classic se II through the hospital and it cost around 80 dollars CAN

try googling it... you might find one for sale less than $60 somewhere, but probably not... they are usually around that. Or try e-bay, but then you never know if it's new or used, and the thought of buying a used stethoscope kinda grosses me out... good luck!

I have a littman lightweight se II. It's great and really easy to wear around your neck. I got it from allheart.com for $38. It's a great entry stethescope for a student. Most of my other classmates that bought the cheap $20 at the school bookstore have now switched to a littman model because they can't hear anything through the cheap ones.

EBAY!!! You gotta check out ebay, you can find them new in the box ("NIB") for very cheap. Usually half of the retail price. SG

Mine came from stethoscope.com.
Worst case, I would check eBay and make sure it's a reputable seller.

"Cheaper" steths tend to be much heavier also. JMHO
EBay is a great place to check.
