Help! So, I am trying to get into the night program for 2015 at Chatt State. Right now I have a 4.0 but I still have to take API&II, Nutrition, and Micro. I was going to take the RODP API course and Nutrition this summer and take APII and Micro in the fall. That way, I can complete all of my prereqs and have somewhat of a better shot at getting in. I HAVE to do night program and I don't want to wait another two years. I am taking the TEAS test this summer, too. I have the ATI book that I am currently reading. Also, I am going to the info session here in a few weeks. Any help or insight would be great because I am a nervous wreck about this whole process and want to do everything possible to get in. Thanks!

The course points are only going to really help you IF you maintain that 4.0 after taking your "pre-reqs." I made a really good score on my TEAS (91) which got me in having only 3 "course points." You want to aim for an 87 or so as the lowest amount of points to get in. Good luck!

Me too! I hope we all get in and I get to meet you ladies and gents! I will have all my course points finished by the Mar 1 deadline, and I plan to take the TEAS again in January (I did ok, but if I can do better it'll be worth it).
Best of luck!

Hi! Also a 2015 Night program hopeful here! My points so far are 82.92 (TEAS practice tests total=87; tomorrow is the real deal!)
Does anyone have a comparison? Advice please!
A lot of people do better on the real test. I did. But that's a good score! I would say at the very least you want 85 points. 86 is better. I aimed for 87.5 to get into the day program. Had 89. Night usually accepts about 1 point lower than the day, but that could change, just depends on the applicant pool.

81.0 was the lowest points accepted into the night program in 2013. The highest points to get in the night 2013 program was 96.2. The scale of points for night 2013 was from 81.0-96.2. I applied for the day program in 2013 and didn't get in. I'm applying for night program for 2015.
I have a summary selection paper from 2013. I applied for the day program that year and did not get in. I'm applying for the night program for 2015. The scale of points for the 2013 night program were from 81.0-96.2. The 2013 day program scale of points was from 85.5-98.4. Hope this helps!
Well it looks like I have 90.3 total nursing points after taking the TEAS test today. Fingers crossed but it looks good!!
