My name is Jamie. I attended the first application session today at Chattahoochee Tech for the Fall 2016 program. I've enjoyed following the last two groups of prospective students on these boards and thought I would see if I could get one started for the 2016 applicants. I'd love to get to know other prospectives and share the emotional rollercoaster that hopefully ends on a high!! :)

First Congrats on getting in! For those of us still waiting and even getting the rejection letter keep in mind that one of the girls posted last year that she got a rejection letter and then on July 10 (or so) she got a call asking if she still wanted to attend. So even if I do not get in I will be holding out hope that I get that call till July 15! If not, then I will put plan B into play. So tell your friend not to lose hope!

I was going to say the same. Apparently they were awarded more clinical spots late last year so they could have more students. Plus there are always those that applied to multiple schools and decide to go somewhere else. She should call and see if they'll tell her where she is on that "stand by" list.

I've seriously checked the mail twice today (Sunday). I am having visions of the Christmas Vacation scene where the delivery guy shows up on Christmas eve bc he found the letter he didn't deliver. Please please no, Jelly of the Month Club!! :roflmao:

I don't know the overall points she had but she had 90 on the teas B in A&p 2, micro and humanity As in everything else
