Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) University of Charleston West Virginia (UCWV) - Marshall 2025 Cohort

Hi everyone!

I'm interested if anyone else has applied to CAMC/UCWV for the 2025 cohort? I know it was a crazy turnaround time, with first day for application submission starting May 3rd and last day ending May 24th, but I hope there are others out there so we can compare experiences! Let me know 🙂

Hope everyone had a positive experience with in-person interviews today! Is anyone willing to talk about there experience? From what I understand, this is the first year they're doing interviews. What kind of things should future applicants expect when preparing for the interview (I.e, clinical, emotional intelligence, or both)?

A friend of mine was told not to tell anyone anything. I don't know if that's just for this week or forever though

Even if it's not forever (and in my opinion it should be), anyone sharing information is placing themselves at a disadvantage because those they tell will have time to prepare their answers and thus interview better.

I just got done and I hope so so much this works out for me!! I love the people and the community even after only being here a day. I can see myself being here for yearssss. Good luck to everyone else as well! Hope to see you there!

How many people were in your group today?

I would say first day had about 22-24 they said between all the days they were interviewing 69 people for 30 spots.
 

Last day of interviews should be done ! We're all one step closer to getting an answer !!

Not sure, I was so nervous I forgot to ask. Either email or snail mail I think based on what it said in the packet we got when interviewing. The second day had 22 people.

I am on travel assignment in a complete different state so I hope they email but worse case scenario I will have my mom go check my mail I guess

If they are still planning to require the $1,000 by June 26th I can only assume they would notify applicants by email. Snail mail would take too long to get to all applicants to accommodate that deadline
